About

Karly Johnson, M.S., PLMHP, LPCC, owner of Kind Mind Therapy, began her career as an Elementary School Counselor, where her passion for supporting others inspired her to transition into clinical therapy. Karly earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services: Child & Family Studies from Northwest Missouri State University. She then went on to complete her Master’s degree in Preventive Mental Health and School Counseling at Creighton University. Her passion for mental health continues to grow and she continued her journey at the University of Nebraska Omaha, and earned her credentials to become a licensed therapist. Kind Mind Therapy currently offers tele-health only sessions and does not accept insurance. However, we are able to offer superbills upon request for your insurance company.
